Examples of technologies that can be put into action are:
Aerobic Digestion to Grey Water or Substrate
Aerobic Digestion to Grey Water or Substrate involves the decomposition of organic waste in the presence of oxygen, producing grey water that can be safely discharged into sewers, or a stabilized organic substrate usable in soil amendment or bio-product processing.
Anaerobic Digestion to Biogas or Liquid Slurry
Anaerobic Digestion involves the decomposition of organic material in the absence of oxygen, producing biogas and nutrient-rich digestate, or a nutrient-rich slurry.
Slurry Tanks & Lagoon Covers
Treated slurry requires the appropriate storage. It can either be stored in tanks or lagoons, However, upcoming 2027 legislation mandates all slurry lagoons to be covered. Effective covers sit on top of the slurry store to trap methane and provide an oxygen free environment for the production of biogas.
