It has come to our attention that a company (we believe to be based abroad) is contacting companies within the UK and portraying themselves as Control Energy Costs (CEC).

For the avoidance of doubt:

• We do not solicit companies to secure supply contracts over the phone. We only work with companies who have entered into a formal working agreement with us
• We will never withhold our phone number when dialling you. A phone number will be displayed and if you are in any doubt, please ask for a name and ring us back on 01737 556631, or get in touch with us via Live Chat on our website
• We will never communicate with you via WhatsApp or any other form of social media
• We will never ask for your bank details

If you have received such a call, we apologise for the inconvenience and any distress this may cause. We understand these callers can become very abusive over the phone.

We would ask that you advise us as soon as possible if you have received such a call, as any information you can provide may help us in eliminating this problem.
