Jo Weaver

This is my first foray into the energy world, having had a career in a variety of industries including brewing, manufacturing, interior design and the education sector. Some of these I have enjoyed immensely, others not so much…

Along the way, I’ve experienced a range of disciplines including project management, sales, marketing and event management. And I’ve learnt the most important part of any job is being with a great team of people and I’m glad to say I’ve found my tribe at Control Energy Costs! I’m looking forward to growing my technical knowledge, although not quite ready to tackle my home electrics, even as a serial property renovator.

When I’m not at work or decorating, I spend my time ferrying my daughter to sports matches, auditions or acting jobs. Not quite ‘tiger mum’, more an unpaid Uber driver.

I’m handy with a pair of scissors and a glue stick and love anything creative. From sewing ballgowns and theatre costumes, to festival flags and miles of bunting, I find the whole creative process good for the soul. I’m about to embark on another van conversion with my husband and we hope to resume our travels across Europe, eating our body weight in cheese and fancy cakes.
