Gurbinder Nijjar

My career in the energy sector kickstarted immediately after university, where I balanced a part-time role while nurturing my own marquee business. As my fascination for the energy industry grew, I decided to fully immerse myself in the dynamic field of energy and have now been in the industry for almost 20 years.

As a child, I had an interest in learning how large plants functioned, so there was no better way to do this than to learn to drive and operate a cherry picker, scissor lift, telehandler and forklift truck! I would have continued to larger transporter machinery like an aircraft but unfortunately, my pocket didn’t stretch to this, so for now this has been parked.

When I’m not working you will find me indulging in my love for food. I’m a fan of Wagamama, as many of my colleagues will know. I also have fond memories of sweets from my childhood and continue to enjoy Drumstick lollies, Cola Cubes, Sherbets, Black Jacks and Fruit Salads.
