Bethany Watters

I am a dedicated member of the Client Support Services Team, I am solely responsible for the resolutions / supplier disputes side of invoicing here at Control Energy Costs, putting the client first and ensuring they get results where needed. I dispute billing errors to suppliers on behalf of our clients to ensure they are being billed accurately and to receive refunds accordingly. My day to day duties involve checking and validating clients invoices through our database to ensure they are being charged the correct rates by their supplier against their signed agreements and I investigate the problems by raising disputes. 

My job is detail-orientated job and it is one I take very seriously. I joined CEC in the height of Covid 19 after being made redundant and have been working as part of the CSS team for over 4 years now! My experience with CEC has been nothing short of adventurous – it has been such an opportunity for me to enter a new industry and to gain knowledge and experience in the utilities sector to start a fantastic career and I have met some great people and made some good relationships with both staff and clients. As well as having a great team we do out of work activities and team bonding / building exercises to ensure staff are treated well with down time and improves performance – it is a great place to work!

In my out of office life I am an artistic individual who enjoys the simple things in life with my long-time partner. Days out to beaches, animals / zoos, taking photos, game nights, movies, café breakfasts and painting when I make time for it with having sold some of my art work too.
