Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager/Client Manager wanting their next career move within the utility sector.
You will currently be working in the energy industry, with experience of electricity and gas procurement and have a good understanding of fixed and flex energy products and services. A working knowledge of carbon reduction initiatives would also be an advantage.
This role will focus on ensuring that through exceptional service, our clients renew/extend their energy supply contracts with Control Energy Costs. You will also have the opportunity to sell our other products and services to current & new clients to add yet more value to the relationship.
Description
As a CRM – Procurement Specialist, you will lead a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring the accurate delivery and completion of services while cultivating long-term profitable relationships. You will serve as a trusted advisor, offering insights and guidance to help clients understand their options and make informed decisions. Your role will involve collaborating closely with internal teams, managing client expectations, and generating commission income through exceptional service. With a focus on renewals, you’ll proactively engage clients, providing bespoke reports and market updates to enhance their experience and maximise value.
Hours of work:
Full-time with opportunities for flexible working after established within the team.
CRM – Procurement Specialist requirements:
- Experience in the energy industry, specifically in electricity and gas procurement.
- A strong understanding of fixed and flexible energy products and services.
- Knowledge of carbon reduction initiatives is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients effectively.
- High degree of resilience and tenacity with a solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
