Control Energy Costs supports manufacturing sector

Control Energy Costs is holding a series of webinars to support the manufacturing sector during November.

The webinars are being held in conjunction with sector specific organisations, including the Association of Industrial Laser Users (AILU), the Confederation of British Metalforming (CBM) and the Surface Engineering Association (SEA). Control Energy Costs will also be holding an online session for Black County Chamber of Commerce.

The challenges faced by the manufacturing sector are numerous and the impact of Covid-19 has been significant, with the challenges of Brexit on the horizon.

Control Energy Costs can offer advice, support and guidance to members of these associations in terms of energy procurement, support with Climate Change Agreements and the analysis and reporting requirements as well as their other services. These include forensic cost analysis, invoice resolution and other energy related projects such as the installation of electric vehicle charging points and reporting for legislation and compliance.

Control Energy Costs has a focus on supporting the manufacturing sector, working with more than 450 manufacturers across the UK to provide full utility management, procurement, and energy related projects.

The last webinar held on 13th October with Made In Group was successful and Control Energy Costs has identified a potential refund due of £80,000 to one of the attendees.

They have successfully reduced the amount of energy we use by 15% – a significant achievement when you consider how energy-intensive our businesses are. They understand how to negotiate the best contracts, can advise on the schemes out there that give you support and have a fantastic overview of legislation, so we know all of our activity is compliant.
